A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was stabbed several times during an argument at a caravan park on the NSW Central Coast.

Police were called to the caravan park on the Pacific Highway at Wyoming early on Tuesday, following reports of a group of men arguing.

They found a 37-year-old man with multiple stab wounds and he was taken to Gosford Hospital.
