Man stabbed in thigh outside Sydney home

A man is in a serious condition after being stabbed in the thigh outside a home in Sydney's south.

Initial police inquiries suggest the 33-year-old man was injured on Bonds Road in Riverwood, in the early hours of Wednesday, following an altercation with another man who was known to him.

The wounded man was taken to St George Hospital. No arrests have yet been made, police say.
