Man shot in buttock outside home in Sydney’s west

A man has been taken to hospital after he was shot in the buttock by an unknown suspect outside a home in Sydney’s south-west.

Police were called to Janus Street in Glenfield just before 10pm last night to find a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound.

The man was taken to hospital in a stable condition to undergo surgery.

Witnesses said they heard at least six gunshots and the screech of motorcycles.

A number of casings were located at the scene and two motorcycles were reportedly observed leaving afterwards.
