Man rolls car, dies after medical episode

A 69-year-old man has died after an apparent medical episode caused him to roll his car in rural NSW.

The man was driving a station wagon on a Crookwell road, near Goulburn in the Southern Tablelands of NSW, at about 8.45am on Saturday with a 16-year-old boy.

Police say it appears a "medical episode" caused their car to leave the roadway, veer down an embankment and roll.

The 69-year-old died at the scene while the teenager was uninjured.

His death takes the NSW Christmas/New Year road toll to seven and the national total to 28.
