Man robbed at knife point in Sydney's west

A man was bashed and robbed at knife point as he got out of his car in a shopping centre carpark in Sydney's west.
The 24-year-old was allegedly approached about 7.30pm on Friday on Avenue of Asia, Newington, by a man who punched him in the face, threatened him with a kitchen knife, stole his wallet, punched him again and then fled the scene.
Police are appealing for information about the whereabouts of the alleged attacker, who is described as being about 30 years old.
