Man rescued after falling five metres down cliff at Bondi

A man has been rescued after falling five metres down a cliff at Sydney's Bondi Beach.
It is understood the man was walking near the bottom of the cliffs around midnight when he fell and wasn't able to get back up.
He called friends for help, and a large-scale rescue was launched involving police rescue teams and paramedics.

He was winched to safety just as the sun rose.
Paramedics transported the man to hospital for injuries to his arm.
It is unclear why he was walking the cliffs.
