Man punched outside Sydney hotel

A man has woken from an induced coma after being felled in a one-punch assault outside a Sydney pub.
His alleged attacker, 28, has been charged and will face court next year.
Police say a fight broke out between a group of men at a pub on inner city William Street on Sunday night and a 24-year-old was punched in the head and knocked to the ground.

He was placed in an induced coma at St Vincent's Hospital.
The accused has been charged with recklessly causing grievous bodily harm and granted conditional bail to appear before court in January.
