Man pulls gun in Sydney car park

Police are seeking a man who punched another man in the chest then produced a revolver during a confrontation in a car park in Sydney's southwest.

Police say that at about 4pm on Friday a 56-year-old man was walking through the car park on Drew Street in Greenacre when an unknown man approached and spoke to him.

He then punched the 56-year-old in the chest and produced a firearm, believed to be a revolver.

The assaulted man, who was uninjured, left the scene and alerted police.

Police described the offender as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern Appearance, about 20-years-old, 160cm tall, of slim build, with a blue and black tattoo on his left arm.

He was seen wearing a red hat, jumper, shorts and shoes.
