Man plunges to death falling from Sydney car park

A man has died after falling three storeys from a shopping centre car park in Sydney's west last night.

About 6.10pm, the man fell from the third level of a car park at the Westfield complex on Aird Street in Parramatta.

The victim, aged in his 30s, was taken to Westmead Hospital but died a short time later.

It's not yet known how the man fell.

A report is being prepared for the coroner.
