Man nabbed at Sydney Airport over MDMA

A man who arrived at Sydney Airport from Thailand has been arrested on suspicion of supplying MDMA to the northern beaches area of the city.

The 27-year-old was arrested about 12.30am on Thursday, an hour after detectives took a 21-year-old man into custody outside a Dee Why home.

Police will allege they were involved in supplying more than 170g of MDMA in August.

A Beacon Hill home was searched and officers seized cash, steroids, cocaine and drug paraphernalia, police said.

The men were charged with participating in a criminal group and drug supply offences.

The 27-year-old is due to face the Central Local Court on Friday while the other man has already appeared at Manly Local Court.

Detectives from the strike force, named Toongahra, have previously charged three men aged 24, 29 and 31, who are currently before the courts.
