Man kicked, punched in Sydney assault

A man has been found unconscious in a licensed premises in the Sydney CBD after he reportedly became involved in an altercation.

The man in his 30s suffered facial injuries after allegedly being punched and kicked at the premises in George Street, Ultimo about 3am on Sunday.

The other man left before police arrived and was last seen running along George Street.

The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment.
