Man impaled on rod at Sydney building site

A man has been impaled on a rod at a Sydney construction site.
The 22-year-old fell onto a metal rod, which penetrated his chest below his a left armpit, at Eastwood on Tuesday afternoon.
He was treated by a CareFlight medical crew and taken to Westmead Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
