Man hit by ute in Sydney

A man is recovering in hospital after being hit by a ute in Sydney.
The 34-year-old man was allegedly hit by the car late on Sunday night as he crossed a road in Newtown.
The 28-year-old driver was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
