Man found with gun wound on Sydney street

A man is in hospital after he was found with a gunshot wound in what is believed to be a targeted attack in Sydney's southwest.
Emergency services were called to Torrens Street in Canley Vale about 3.40pm on Sunday where they treated the wounded man, believed to be in his 30s, police said.
He has been taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Police say initial inquiries indicate the attack was targeted and are urging any witnesses to come forward.
