Man flung over car in road rage incident

A road rage argument in a shopping centre carpark has left a man in hospital with serious injuries after he was allegedly slammed into and flung over the roof by another driver on the NSW Central Coast.

The row began when a 45-year-old man allegedly confronted a 21-year-old man over his erratic driving at a Kanwal car park and a war of words broke out on Tuesday night.

The younger man allegedly smashed a tail light on the other man's car and got back in his own vehicle.

The 45-year-old moved in front of the car to block it but was struck and flung up and over the bonnet and roof before falling heavily to the ground, breaking several bones and dislocating his shoulder.

The 21-year-old driver, who allegedly fled, was later charged with several offences including causing grievous bodily harm.
