Man falls onto Sydney Tunnel exit

A young man has fallen from an overpass onto a Sydney Harbour Tunnel exit.

He suffered cardiac arrest while being treated by paramedics and was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with serious injuries after falling onto the tunnel's northbound exit.

Two northbound lanes had to be shut but have now reopened, leaving heavy traffic backed up through the tunnel and onto the Eastern Distributor.
