Man drowns at northern Sydney beach

A man has drowned after falling into water while rock fishing at a northern Sydney beach.

Lifesavers tried to revive the unidentified man but he died at Curl Curl beach on Tuesday afternoon, police say.

A report is being prepared for the coroner and investigations continue.
