Man dies of gunshot wound in NSW

A man has died of a gunshot wound after police were called to a property on the NSW mid-north coast on reports he had arrived there with a firearm.
Police say a critical incident investigation has been launched following the man's death at the property in Girralong on Wednesday afternoon.
The man sustained a gunshot wound and died at the scene but no police weapons were fired, police said.

A report will be prepared for the coroner to determine the cause of his death.
