Man dies in crash on NSW-Victorian border

A man is dead following a head-on collision between a car and a ute on the NSW-Victorian border.
The 54-year-old ute driver died at the scene on the Sturt Highway at Euston just after midday on Wednesday, police said.
The 24-year-old car driver was taken to Mildura Hospital in a stable condition, where he will also undergo mandatory testing.

The highway is expected to be closed for a number of hours while forensic officers examine the scene.
