Man dies in Central Coast house fire

An 81-year-old man has died in a house fire on the NSW Central Coast.

Emergency crews were called to the blaze at Bukkai Road, Wyee around 5.20pm on Sunday.

After the fire was extinguished, the body of the man, the only resident of the property, was recovered from the home.

Detectives and fire officers are investigating the cause of Sunday's blaze.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
