Man dies at Sydney beach

A man has died after being pulled from a Sydney beach unconscious.

The 27-year-old is believed to have been snorkeling with friends at Gordons Bay, near Clovelly, when something went wrong, leading him to lose consciousness on Monday evening.

Emergency services tried to revive the man but he died at the scene, a police spokeswoman said.
