Man dies after suspected assault in NSW

A man injured in a suspected assault near Wollongong has died in hospital.
The 66-year-old man was seriously injured at a pub on Wentworth Street in Port Kembla on Christmas Eve and taken to Wollongong Hospital.
The man died in Tuesday from his injuries.

Police believe the victim was injured in an unprovoked attack by one or more males outside the premises and wish to speak to anyone who may know more.
