Man dies after Port Macquarie road crash

A man has died and a woman has been taken to hospital in a stable condition after a single-vehicle crash near Port Macquarie in NSW.
Emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway about 20 kilometres south of the Port Macquarie turnoff on Monday morning following reports a vehicle had left the road and hit a tree.
A male passenger in his 30s died at the scene, while the female driver, also believed to be in her 30s, was taken to hospital for mandatory testing, a police statement said.
