Man dies after assault at Sydney pub

A man has died in a Sydney hospital after he was assaulted at an inner-city pub.
The 52-year-old was assaulted at a pub in Waterloo and fell to the ground on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
He was taken to St Vincent's Hospital and died in the early hours of Wednesday.

Investigations are underway and police are urging witnesses to come forward.
