Man shot dead in Sydney, another wounded
A man has been shot dead and another is in hospital with bullet wounds after an attack at an industrial area in Sydney's southwest.
The shooting happened about 1.10pm on Saturday in Condell Park in Bankstown, and officers say the men are known to police.
"We believe that the people did know each other," a police spokesman told media on Saturday, adding that it was unclear whether the men were shot by a third party.
"It's quite possible that a meeting has taken place."
The spokesman said people in the area heard an argument before a number of shots were fired.
One of the men died in hospital, while the other man's condition remains unknown.
Homicide detectives are interviewing the men's family at Liverpool Hospital and are asking the public for assistance.
