Three men are dead following a 24-hour spate of serious crashes in NSW.

The most recent fatality came after a man's car left the road and hit a tree at Coutts Crossing, south of Grafton on Friday night.

The incident occurred just hours after a sedan driven by a 22-year-old man hit trees in a similar crash at Gidley, north of Tamworth on Friday afternoon.
