Man dead after being pulled from water at Palm Beach

A man in his 20s has died after being pulled from the water off Palm Beach, north of Sydney’s CBD.

Emergency services were called the beach near Ocean Road after friends lost sight of the man in the water just before 4pm.

The man was pulled ashore by surf life savers and paramedics, who performed CPR.

He has since died and is expected to be taken to Mona Vale Hospital.
