Man charged with drink driving after crash

A man has been charged with high-range drink driving after his car flipped in a fiery crash in Sydney's inner west.

Police say the 25-year-old was driving down Bay Street in Glebe at around 8.15pm on Saturday night when it hit a barrier and flipped.

The driver escaped the car uninjured before it caught fire.

He was arrested at the scene and later blew an alleged alcohol reading of 0.180.

The Kellyville man was charged with high range drink driving and was given bail to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on October 30.
