Man charged with assaulting Sydney nurse

A man has been charged after allegedly assaulting a nurse at a hospital in Sydney's west.
The 28-year-old entered Liverpool Hospital about 10pm on Wednesday with a stab wound in his neck.
But while being treated he tried to punch a male nurse and then left without receiving medical help, police say.

He was later arrested and charged with common assault and breaching an Apprehended Violence Order.
The man was refused bail and will face Liverpool Local Court on November 12.
