A man has been charged over three shootings in Sydney's south earlier this year.

Two homes and a car were peppered with bullets at Revesby, Bexley North and Brighton Le-Sands during a 90-minute spree in April.

A 26-year-old Punchbowl man has been charged over the shootings and refused bail.

A family of five escaped injury at their Revesby home when it was shot at 13 times about 9pm on April 29.

Police say an elderly couple, their middle-aged son and his two children, were inside at the time.

About an hour later, shots were fired at a parked car in nearby Bexley North but no one was injured.

Fifteen minutes after, a house in Rowley Street, Brighton-Le-Sands, was fired on with three bullet holes found in the front windows.

Police believe the residents were also home but weren't hurt.

Bexley North is about five kilometres from Brighton-Le-Sands.

The accused man was due to appear at Kogarah Local Court later on Tuesday.
