Man charged over Sydney CBD hotel murder

A man has been charged for allegedly hindering a NSW police investigation into the murder of a man shot dead in a Sydney hotel room last year.
The 44-year-old's body was found inside the room in Kent Street in the city's CBD on November 16.
A 56-year-old man was arrested while being questioned about the murder at Day Street Police Station on Wednesday morning, police say.

He was granted bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on September 28.
Three other men and a woman previously charged with different offences in relation to the murder are due to appear at Central Local Court on October 27.
