Man charged over golf club stabbing

A man who allegedly used part of a broken golf club to stab another through the jaw and throat in inner Sydney has been charged.
A fight between an armed 23-year-old and a 50-year-old erupted at a Waterloo home on Tuesday night, police say.
As the dispute spilled out onto a main road the golf club shattered and the younger man allegedly used a piece to stab the other man.

A man has been charged with grievous bodily harm and being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence and will appear in Central Local Court on Thursday.
