Man charged over fatal Sydney crash

A man has been charged with numerous offences over a fatal car crash in Sydney's south last month.

Police say the 30-year-old drove his truck into the back of a car that was waiting at a set of traffic lights in Barden Ridge on May 16, killing a 77-year-old female passenger and seriously injuring two other people in the car.

The man faces charges including dangerous driving occasioning death and will appear at Sutherland Local Court on September 1.
