Man charged for driving 198km/h in Sydney

A Sydney man has been charged with drink driving after reaching speeds of almost 200km/h in the city's south.
Police stopped the black sports car on Southern Cross Drive, Eastlakes, at 11.55pm on Sunday, after the driver was detected travelling at 198km/h in the 80km/h zone.
The man, 53, from Bardwell Valley was breath-tested by officers and returned a positive reading.

He was charged with several counts of driving at a speed and driving with mid-range PCA.
He will appear at court in November.
