'Man cave' poker machines illegal in NSW

Poker machines advertised as "man cave" furniture could cost the owners penalties of up to $11,000 or 12 months in prison, the NSW Justice Department has warned.

Liquor and Gambling NSW has recently discovered a number of online sales of used gaming machines, sparking concern the devices could be used for illegal gambling.

Sale or possession of the machines without authorisation is illegal, the department has warned.
