Man bashed, robbed, on Sydney street

A 38-year-old man has been bashed and robbed on an inner Sydney street in the early hours of Friday morning.
The man's watch, wallet and cash were stolen when he was assaulted by two men near King Street in Newtown some time after midnight and 1.30am, police said.
Paramedics treated the man and he was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where he is being treated for facial injuries including a possible broken nose.
