Man bashed in Sydney granny flat

A man is in hospital with leg and facial injuries after being bashed in a granny flat in Sydney's southwest.

Police say officers were called to the flat in Bass Hill shortly before midnight on Monday to find the injured 37-year-old man who was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Police believe it was a targeted attack and have established a crime scene at the granny flat.
