Man and woman arrested after allegedly waving toy gun while driving through Sydney Harbour Tunnel

A man and a woman have been arrested after allegedly waving a toy gun as they drove through the Sydney Harbour Tunnel today.

Police stopped a Holden Barina around 4:40pm on the Warringah Freeway after receiving reports from concerned drivers the pair were armed.

A subsequent search uncovered the toy gun and a stash of steroids.

The pair were arrested and taken to North Sydney Police Station.
