Man accused of stabbing grandad in Sydney

A 24-year-old Sydney man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing his grandfather in the chest.
NSW Police says the 80-year-old man was stabbed at a Moorebank home in southwest Sydney early on Sunday morning.
The grandfather was taken to Liverpool Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The grandson was arrested at the scene and later charged with attempted murder and breaching an apprehended domestic violence order.
