A man has died after suffering a suspected medical episode while swimming off Umina Beach on the NSW Central Coast.
Emergency services were called just before 2pm today, following reports a 51-year-old man was suffering difficulties in the water.

Paramedics were unable to save him and he died at the scene.
It’s believed the man may have suffered a medical episode in the water.
The incident follows a spate of drownings across NSW since Christmas.
