Laser pointed at plane in Sydney

A laser has been pointed at a plane approaching Sydney Airport.

Police believe it was pointed from the vicinity of a golf club on Henry Lawson Drive at Georges Hall at about 8.30pm on Saturday.

The plane, which had flown from Cairns, landed without incident.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or any suspicious behaviour near Georges Hall to contact them.
