Large stash of cannabis found during RBT
AAP
Two men have allegedly been caught with 24kg of cannabis stashed inside plastic drums in the back of a van they were driving through a rural town in northern NSW.
The men were stopped at an RBT at Boggabilla and the haul of drugs, believed to be worth about $480,000 was found after the 23-year-old driver tested positive to drugs following a roadside test early on Friday afternoon, police say.
The driver and his 27-year-old passenger, both from South Australia, have been charged with supplying cannabis and are due to appear before Moree Local Court on Saturday.
