Jury discharged at NSW bikie murder trial

A Sydney jury has been discharged after failing to reach verdicts at the trial of Matthew Paul Wiggins, who is accused of gunning down a Comancheros bikie gang member in 2012.

The 29-year-old pleaded not guilty in the NSW Supreme Court to murdering Darko Janceski, 32, and causing grievous bodily harm to his father, Slobodan Janceski, during the attack in the front yard of the family's Wollongong home in April 2012.

The victim was shot three times and killed by a motorcyclist wearing a balaclava.

After almost eight days of deliberations, the jury was discharged on Monday, with the case adjourned for arraignment on February 9.
