Inmate stabbed in NSW prison attack

A prisoner is recovering in hospital after he was stabbed by two other inmates at a jail west of the NSW Blue Mountains.
The attack occurred at the Lithgow Correctional Centre at about 8.20am Monday, a Corrective Services spokesman said.
The man was airlifted to hospital where he remains in a stable condition with non life-threatening injuries, while the two alleged assailants have been segregated.
