Indecent act on sunbaking woman in Sydney

A man is accused of committing an act of indecency on a sunbaking woman and following another in Sydney.

Police say the man sat next to a woman sunbaking at Alfred Park, Surry Hills around 1.50pm on January 8, 2016 and committed an act of indecency on her.

He left the park after being confronted by another person, they say.

This year, officers were called to George St to reports of a man following a woman around 3pm on January 18.

It is alleged the man uttered sexual offensive remarks to the woman and made several threats when confronted by members of the public.

A 27-year-old man was arrested at Central Railway Station on Friday and charged with indecency, assault and offensive conduct.

He was due to appear in Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
