Ibrahim may be given chance at freedom

Convicted killer Michael Ibrahim could be a step closer to freedom after it appeared he would be granted another chance at parole.

Ibrahim was refused parole at a hearing in April, but the NSW Supreme Court on Friday heard he wasn't given access to all relevant documents.

Crown lawyers agreed he should be granted another hearing because he was denied "procedural fairness".

The NSW Supreme Court will make orders next Tuesday as to whether the youngest member of the Ibrahim family should be given another chance at parole.
