AAP
A hydroponics drug lab has been discovered during a shop fire in Sydney's west.
Firefighters arrived at the Fairfield premises shortly before 8.30pm on Sunday and several owners were evacuated from their shops as a precaution.
The fire was extinguished about 11pm and investigators discovered what is believed to be a hydroponic set-up for the manufacture of cannabis while assessing the damage.
