Labor MP Emma Husar is weighing her future after the party dumped her a day after she declared she was not a thief or a bully.

The state administrative committee on Friday withdrew its endorsement of Ms Husar for the federal seat of Lindsay for the next election

The NSW branch has referred the preselection of Labor's new candidate to the national executive, meaning there won't be a normal rank and file ballot.

Ms Husar says she is deeply disappointed and would challenge the validity of the decision.

The western Sydney MP has spent the past few months fighting accusations she bullied her staff and flashed another federal MP.

On Thursday, she announced she was launching defamation proceedings following a Buzzfeed article that aired the allegations.

Federal Labor leader Bill Shorten believes she should not contest the next election.
