Hundreds of international students scammed

Hundreds of international students in Australia have been duped into paying for "cheap airline flights" in a social media scam.

Discounted tickets have been sold in a fraud that's hit at least 300 people studying in Australia, police say.

Police investigating the scam since early 2015 have urged people with information to come forward.

A female account-holder offered the discounted tickets to a closed group on the social media platform, police say.
