Hopoate to go to mediation with Eels

Bulldogs NRL fullback Will Hopoate's court action against the Parramatta Eels has been adjourned so the parties can attend mediation.

Hopoate has reportedly been seeking $1.83 million in damages from his former club, which he alleges reneged on a contractual agreement.

A Sydney Supreme Court on Thursday heard mediation has been scheduled for June 1 and the matter will return to court on June 29.
